Why is Kovalev shot because he lost 3 fights?

thats BS, ggg needs to get his own wins... if he wants any credit he needs to start by taking the risks...
you give ggg credit for beating the rolls and dervys, thats it...
if canelo beats kova doesnt mean ggg can... styles make fights and ggg and canelo are different fighters...Comment

I swear posters slam Floyd saying"being undefeated only means you never took risk" So DAMN!!! which is it??? Kovalev took risks right?? he is the same age as GGG but took the harder fights and as a result took some losses..you cant pick and choose when to say losses are bad or they dont matter... this forum is biased as hell
they are shltheads
the same posters who need to minimize Kovalev... are the same fkn idiots who are still crying over Golovkin... surprise surpriseComment

Geez man didn't mean to strike a nerve lol...some people get so sensitive on here, I really don't get it.thats BS, ggg needs to get his own wins... if he wants any credit he needs to start by taking the risks...

By the way...the main way in which this fight imo would be a barometer for GGG is with regards to power relative to Kovalev...I would always have imagined Kov as the bigger puncher, as the bigger man with a similar KO record at LHW as GGG has as MW.
I saw Abel say recently that in his opinion GGG is a much bigger puncher than Kov, and I personally find that hard to believe...so I am interested to see how Nelo takes Kov's power, relative to how he took GGG's in the first and second fights (seemed to take it better in fight 2 as he knew what GGG has to offer).
I felt GGG won both vs Canelo fairly straightforwardly...however styles do make fights as you say...was more saying though that if Canelo is even competitive with Kovalev it would probably speak quite highly of GGG's chances at 175 vs the top guys there, as imo he and Canelo had 2 competitive fights with GGG being the better man each time.
Also if Canelo wins by mid-to late stoppage after Kov fades, it would also probably speak well of GGG's chances against Kov (or anyone similar at 175 that has stamina issues) as one of GGG's best qualities is his stamina, so he would presumably be able to capitalize very well on that, assuming he could deal with the power increase at the beginning of the fight.
But I am certainly looking forward to Kov-Canelo...should be interesting and if no weight restrictions, if Canelo can even be competitive vs Kov I would be extremely impressed!Comment

If youve been watching his fights for the last decade or w/e its obvious hes not the same guy. He almost lost to a guy who doesnt spar last time out. You can call it washed or seen better days or w/e, but its obvious this guy isnt as good as he used to be.Comment

Kovalev is a dog... he is the king at LHW
he was unlucky in the first Ward fight... but he proved what a great champion he is with Alvarez and Yarde
Kovalev is a tough fight for any LHW...
but he is a VERY tough fight for a middleweight
he earned a great payday, I am happy for him
WAR Kovalev !
best of luck to both guys !Comment
