This will be a classic bout, book it. Canelo wins and he's on his way to Mayweather status.
Canelo has an iron jaw. Kovalev is a good puncher but not a great puncher. I don't think he can KO Canelo, I think Canelo KOs him with body punches. Yarde had Kovalev in bad trouble with body punches to the point where his trainer almost gave up the fight. Canelo is a vastly superior body puncher than Yarde.

Seems like a profitable bet long term. Maybe Canelo is too small to hang like some are suggesting or maybe Kov's body is too soft for a strong body puncher like others are suggesting. Either way someone not making it 12 seems the more likely outcome than a decision.

Ill be curious to see over/under for this one.

Agree 100%. Canelo is coming for that body and Kovalev is smart enough to know he won't win on the cards. Should end in brutal fashion one way or the other.

He had Hopkins in survival mode from round 1, he KO'd Yarde with a jab, he steam rolled through durable guys like JP & Cleverly, he's even killed a man.

Yarde is a cruiser, he hits much harder than Canelo and much better reach. Kov may be past his best but that's still better than anyone Canelo has fought.

I think we see a similar Canelo for the first half of the fight as we saw in his first GGG fight. He will be cautious and use movement. Most likely try to steal rounds with flashy combos and counters as they present themselves without pushing the action too much. If Kov comes out and gets spent swinging wildly and chasing Canelon around without landing much leather, then he might be more vulnerable in the second half of the fight if Canelo chooses to press the action.

Regardless what happens, this is a good fight. I see it going to the cards. Possible draw.

If Canelo can get inside I think he’ll be able to stop Kovalev in the middle rounds BUT getting inside is dangerous work. If Canelo gets his bell rung on the way in Kovalev will make short work of a stunned Canelo.

There is more money in canelo ggg than this fight. Kovo biggest weakness is
Body shots and canelo is probably the best body puncher. Kovo is folding early mark my words.

Kovalev did jab Yarde and Yarde fell down. However the knockdown came as a result of Yarde being exhausted. Kovalev has a great jab no doubt but if Yarde wasn't exhausted he never would have got knocked down.

Top guy vs top guy hasn't led to any kos/tkos (Andy wasn't and still isn't a top guy).
