Has there ever been weaker MW Champ than Miguel Cotto?

    You got to believe Cotto's huge PR fanbase had something to do with him getting a shot at the injured Martinez and coming out as MW Champ, only to lose it 2 fights later to another fighter with an even bigger fan base. Dat's boxing!
    Eh not really he was a WW fighting 2 weights up. Shows me if anything he is underrated, also losing to a man who cheated with Plaster of Paris does things to your psyche and it takes alot to recover from that and move on.

        To be fair, he was never really a middleweight champ. That would be a champ @160 and under. Cotto was more of a Canelo weight champ.

          5% or some shlt, of his fights were at MW and none at his prime.
