Kovalev on Yarde: "It wasn't a very hard fight [...] he didn't hurt me."

Kovalev was asked if he's recovered enough from the Yarde fight to take on Canelo so soon and he said that the Yarde fight wasn't very hard, and that he wasn't hurt.

He says that he only sees advantages in Canelo, no disadvantages, adding that the weight difference won't be that much on fight night.

I think that is just him reading from the script. I’m in great shape, I’m not old and I’m not weight drained.

    He was definitely hurt.

It sure looked like a hard fight to the viewers, but hey, things are not always what they appear to be. I didn't think Kovalev was as hurt as much as some other people seemed to think. He did seem to be fatigued and winded though.

Kovalev also confirms here he was about 180lbs in the Eleider fight, and 182-183 for the Yarde fight. Even if there was a rehydration clause it would not affect Kovalev at all.

So Kovalev is about the same weight as your average smw? Who knew?

the pay thing that can affect Nova are:

Fight to close to the last one
            Canelo's PED's
            Canelo's Judges
            Someone pays him to loose

Nah, nothing can go wrong, not a thing, LOL

              Yes and no.

So he said for second Alvarez fight he put in 2 kg and put on 3.5 kg for Yarde.

PRIOR fights, before he started working on nutrition, he said he would put on 7kg or so and felt really sluggish.

You can see he is in good shape right now.

              Go Krusher.

So he wasn’t hurt and Mcgirt threatened to stop the fight for no reason?
