How can DAZN overpay fighters, if their offers are lower than what fighters from PBC are earning?

Because they aren't getting the return on their investment. PBC has two network deals.

DAZN paid Ramirez $4 mil to fight in front of 2000 people with 25k people streaming

Yes, about damn time! Now they need to tell Canelo, if he doesn't start delivering the fights that they want and giving the fans the fights that we want to see then he is out! He simply just won't get paid.

Let him take his ass over to ESPN to get his ass kissed then! However, Bob knows where to draw the line. Bob will tell him straight up that he won't get paid the big bucks unless he fights the big fucking fights.

where do u got that 25k people streaming number?

From that perspective I get where you are coming from, but they had to invest to build their stable.

Most startups do have to burn through a lot of money and wont see green numbers after a couple years.

I believe dazn is close to the 1-year anniversary in the US. And what they achieved in that timeframe is pretty good.

I asked in one of your past threads a similar question. Do you have a positive opinion about DAZN's fall schedule? Are you seeing improvement in what they are doing? And is the pricetag worth the product? Just want to know if you have anything positive to say about dazn. lol

Yes exactly; That's precisely the point. Bob is in the business of making money not losing it. He is strictly going to pay a fighter what he believes he is worth; Which is why he allowed Pac to leave without so much as a threat of taking legal action against him.

DAZN, underestimated the American market. Boxing is no longer a mainstream sport over here. They ended up paying Canelo more than he was actually worth by marginalizing and narrowing his audience.

The DAZN app limits the amount of viewers and subscriptions, that Canelo could attract on its online media streaming platform because it's only available in nine different countries.

DAZN people saw the thread I made 2 months ago.

                Is DAZN destroying boxing?

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

The 25k number is from Arum.

One year in and approx 100k subs and not enough revenue a year to cover GGG's purse isn't a success. They overspent to get into the market but haven't made a dent in it. Taking Canelo off PPV has freed up the PPV market for Fox. They're bringing in more revenue from one PPV than DAZN is bringing in the whole year

Yes I'm happy with their fall schedule. I subscribe to DAZN! DAZN is great for hardcore boxing fans but horrible for the sport of boxing in America. You don't take a niche sport and put it on a niche app with less eyeballs than premium cable and PPV. It's not good for the sport in America

Unfortunately you'll be labeled a PBC fanboy for you honest opinion.

                      Only a matter time!

Only ROI they have is Canelo, I actually sent an email to DAZN on how I would I be a late replacement for a fighter at 154-147 cuz they was overpaying everyone!

A friend of mines actually tried to get his boxing license with the way DAZN was giving away money like frozen turkeys to the homeless!

It went from Earn with Hearn to Slow Your Payroll! Lmao

So much for this war chest
