Sorry but Mosley wasn’t 2-2-1 including being knocked out twice. He was coming off the biggest win of his career possibly according to some at the time until the 3rd round of the Mayweather fight then all of a sudden he was old and tired lol. But I get what you’re trying to say in your post. I agree with you.

            You’re not wrong...

Tarver was generally considered the #1 guy at 175 though.

What exactly is your point regarding these weights and those fighters, if the weights are not what makes them HOF’ers?

He started at 147, fought for years at 154, then went to 160, had 1 fight at 168, and is now going to 175 to fight the #1 or #2 ranked guy in the world there.

Boxing historically has honored and praised guys for moving up multiple weight classes, because it shows they are chasing a challenge. Canelo is 5-9 going to fight a legit bog punching full blown LHW. Why shouldn't he get props?

By my count Canelo has moved up 4 times now, that's a lot better than zero times (GGG).

My point is that he is trying to put his name where only 3 other fighters have in the history... and all those three fighters happen to be atg.. that’s all. Make sense?
