Ok so canelo going up to challenge the consensus number 3 st worst light heavy who is a champion doesn’t deserve credit? Wtf??? But y’all the same people who worship ggg beahahahahahajaha what am I missing? I don’t get it

The point is that the division started in the 1970s.

What you guys are all pretending is so legendary, titles at 154 and 175, happened in the 80s and twice in the 90s.

Winky Wright came up just short of making it happen again in the 2000s.

And this is considering that Roy Jones was champion at 175 from 1996 to 2004.

What Canelo is attempting literally happened every decade before him in which the 154 division existed, even with a highly dominant champion ruling for an 8 year period.

It’s not nearly as big of a deal as Canelo fans are making it out to be.

The answer is Kovalev and in regards to p4p Kovalev is number 11 p4p on boxrec and that’s prior to his win vs Yarde which probably doesn’t move him up but def doesn’t move him down..lmao and he is top ranked 175 lbs right now on most lists... so???? The hell you talking bout bro

Oleksander Usyk is already a hall of famer then because he’s the only 4-Belt cruiserweight champion in history.

Terrence Crawford is the only four belt super lightweight champion in history so he must already be a hall of famer as well.

You keep trying to discredit this Kovalev fight and even worst are trying to say that a third ggg and second win over him does more than a Kovalev win which is not true... i think 99.9 percent of boxing fans, even ggg fans can agree you being the 0.01 who things otherwise

No, everyone who’s objective knows Kovalev is shot and is taking a cash grab.

GGG is old but he hasn’t lose three of his last seven fights and he hasn’t been knocked out twice in that span.

They are not hall of famers simply because they held titles at 154 and 175

                    That isn’t the criteria

Canelo is 5’8 possibly 5’7. hopkins and winky are both 6’1 so they were big guys moving up to their natural weights. Canelo the GOD is creating legend status
