Why would a promotion company stop talking to the press? The entire point of promoting is to use all channels of media, which includes the press. For better or worse, this publicity only actually helps Ryan Garcia. No body would be talking about Ryan Garcia, had it not for this little locker room drama. My pessimistic nature thinks this is all made up to get people talking about Ryan garcia and gbp.

Interesting point, I have to agree with you, when a fighters talent level is not as high as his popularity this is the best way to play it.

Vergil Ortiz created his Hype/Buzz in the ring by KNOCKING PEOPLE THE F#CK OUT! Ryan is coming off as very entitled because he has a lot of Teen Girls following him on Social Media who don't even watch boxing, they just like the way he looks

In the Ring...he NOT as good as Haney, Stevenson, Lopez, Ortiz as a PRO! He hasn't looked good at those guys not even close. His Defense is AWFUL, he was on his way of getting his ass KNOCKED OUT if they didn't pull back after his last fight on Facebook in which lets be honest he did not look good

No WAY GBP throws this kind of shade on one of their most popular prospects if it was not over. He may have a couple fights left on contract, but this partnership is OVER. You cant call out your fighter for being chicken(even if true) and then say he is not your best prospect(even if true)and expect it to be worked out. Once GBP went to press I KNEW it was done.

Kid has loads of potential, he already has the star pathway just needs to prove it in the ring!

He should’ve took the Duno fight and knocked him out to shut up the haters and Golden Fishnets for good and then leave, that would’ve been the ultimate burn!

Sadly he’s way in over his head, if he thinks he’s better then he should move up to 147 and fight Ortiz to prove it!

Why fight at 147 when he could stay at 140? Ortiz is more than capable of going back to 140. If not Ortiz, Oscar can have Ryan fight Tanajara since he and Robert have been asking for that fight
