Why tf does Wilder not focus on the body more!

With his fast hands and power he imo would have ko Tyson had he work on breaking him down. Even in Stiverne first fight had he stay focused on the body he would have gotten the ko.

Wilder got bone crushing power and since he alaways focused on ko the body is the first way to go then the head.
Why aren't his trainers pushing for more body attacks plus more left hooks he has a underrated hook.

Because he can`t box, that`s why. If he goes to the body, he has to move closer. If he moves closer he is an easy target for somebody like Fury. he must stay on distance and wait on his big right hand.

Interesting point... I’m assuming it’s either lack of ring IQ or an inability to attack the body without being exposed to counter punches.

His hook doesn't seem very good to me. It's very wide and cuffing with the wrist and inside of the glove a lot of the time. Probably hurts both fighters hitting like that though.

His thing is head hunting and knocking guys out, if he has any brains he will mix it up and whack Fury's big flabby body a bit in the rematch

wilder isn't a good dig in puncher ,he relies on straight lengthy ones, decent uppercut though at times.Hes basically to inconsistent with everything and needs that long range right hand . He only caught Fury bc he was ducking down for no reason. Bodu punching would leave him potentially open so being a long range fighter hes going to use them less ,hes to used to dropping his hands to throw them much on the inside ,he would get caught more.

He is trained by Breland. He is trained to jab and throw the right hand at distance. Plus he is tall and they are not going to have him trying to dig down.

At this stage of his career I don't think he can learn the art of body punching.

Good idea. Hopefully he digs some bombs into Fury's body in the rematch. It would be hard to miss that huge body. Yes, I hope hoping for a Wilder KO win.

He's not skilled enough to go for the body unless you want him to get knocked out cold.

He's only good at setting up his telegraphed big right. he paws with his left then swing his big right and if he misses, he swings his left. That's Wilder in a nutshell.
