Should Wallin have been awarded a TKO victory?

    I don’t think so.

It was a bad cut but it was handled pretty well, he was winning clearly and although it affected him he didn’t get hit a massive amount.

Not everything has to be politics, I’m sure if he was getting battered and the cut got progressively worse they would’ve stopped it.

If Wallin got that exact same cut he likely would’ve been hit much more than Fury was with the cut (and losing the fight clearly as opposed to winning a messy fight) because Fury is better than him and the cut would’ve gotten worse, so I don’t think it’s as straight forward to say it would’ve been stopped just because Wallin wasn’t the name fighter.

NSAC by their own rules should have informed Fury's corner that it had been reviewed and was caused by a legal punch. They got as far as saying to his corner it was accidental. Not as far as updating his corner on the reviewed decision.
      Hardly preferential treatment.
      You've watched boxing before right?!
Who generally gets the benefit of the doubt? The big name and money spinner or the outside chance opponent?
I'm quite sure the many decades of boxing you can view at any time for free will clarify how it goes.

I simply thought it was a great fight any way you look at it.

Yes... that was the entire point I was making.

Did I mention I make wooden legs for old people? That gives me a good perspective on this fight. #Relevant.

          Anyway...

See, I've heard about this rumour (rumor, Fat Yank) - Lennox pulled out his big black taddywacker and started trying to eyefuck Vitali with it, who was already suffering from the effects of having fought Danny Williams in the future and being destroyed for three-and-a-half years... but I never saw it. Lewis kept his shorts on IMO.

It's worked out alright tho, we all want Fury-Wilder II, not Fury-Wallin II
Fury got protected, the cherry he picked busted him up so bad he couldn't see out that eye lol. Cherry picking gone wrong, Wilder is definitely gonna KO this chump.

Oh yeah, people have eyes so no rumors necessary. And it also wasn't necessary to go round the block to get next door to tell everyone how ****** you are. You fat brits (yes, you're fatter than us yanks) who get no pVssy tend to do that. (you)

Lol that you're sensitive about the Vitali-Lewis fight.......I wonder why?

But I can't help but think that, had Wallin experienced two exceptionally bad cuts that poured so much blood into his eye that he couldn't see punches coming, that fight would have been stopped by the same referee who didn't even ask if Tyson could see.

                What do you guys think?
The ref asked the ringside doctor to check if Fury was ok to continue, The doc examined him said that that he was good to go. End of story.

Referees will give more leeway in big fights. Wallin should have points deducted for scratching the cut with his glove laces. That's one of the most flagrant fouls I've seen in a long time but Weeks let it go because he didn't want to step in too much and ruin a big event by making himself the protagonist.

I guess we got to see Fury's heart after all is said and done. He managed to fight through it and get a gritty win. I have to wonder how Wilder or AJ would have handled that adversity.

That was another blatant and horrible foul committed right in front of Tony Weeks' eyes.

Luckily it happened right on the bell, or Weeks would have have waved the fight off and awarded Wallin a TKO win after Fury turned away wincing and complaining about it.
