Boxrec had him 47th in the world. A boxer advances in the rankings by winning fights. He lost a ud by a wide amount. He doesn't get ranked higher for losing but not getting KOed. He is not a top 10 heavyweight by most places but one or two of the alphabet groups already had him top 10 even before he fought Fury. I think at least 10 heavyweights would beat him and probably many more than that,

Just because he doesn't sit on his punches often doesn't mean he can't put steam on them feet set and throw sledgehammers. On top of this, his ability to throw from many angles and stances means he will be able to catch his opponents with punches they cannot see coming. Of course his ability to pivot and move, slip and counter, compliment this. Fury Is the boogeyman. He has a lock on the HW division like Floyd did at WW and GGG has at MW.
