I'm not arguing against him getting the fight. If he got himself in the mandatory position then he deserves the fight. I'm just saying that he doesn't present any threat to Lomachenko right now and there's no reason why Lomachenko wouldn't want the fight from a fighter's perspective. Haney's a talent. I'm not sure why he's taking Arum's words and putting them in Lomachenko's mouth though. When has Lomachenko ever dismissed Haney? Either way, calling Lomachenko out gets the ball rolling. I'd like to see Haney take a tougher opponent first. I'd like to see him fight Campbell, Crolla, or even Nakatani next. That would set him up in prime position to call for Lomachenko after he unifies with the Commey-Lopez winner.
