Comments Thread For: Fury: Wladimir Was Over Hill With Me, Prime With Joshua

Tyson Fury laughs off what he perceives as a lack of overall respect for his upset of Wladimir Klitschko. Fury wasn't nearly the underdog Andy Ruiz Jr. was when Ruiz stopped Anthony Joshua three months ago at Madison Square Garden. But Klitschko hadn't lost in 11 years when England's Fury out-boxed him to win their 12-round fight heavyweight title fight by unanimous decision in November 2015.

The reason Fury didnt get full credit for that win is number one it was a stinker. But number two hes face didnt fit with the UK media and he didnt play it PC enough to be groomed as a mainstream star. AJ beat Wlad in a life and death struggle, and has a PR team behind him helping him pull off the fake humble act. Modern times.

I'm sure Furynwill beat the Swedish pastry Wallin but hopefully he will fight better opposition after this. It has to be Wilder.

I think alot of people disregard drug tests now because theres an assumption everyone is on something. Miller seems to have recovered without missing a beat despite failing such a high profile fight, nobody seems to be condemning Whyte really either. Canelo is sitting pretty.None of these guys are eating dodgy meat. People seem to have just accepted boxing as dirty now.

Cant argue with that ... it’s become the norm

They should have a juiced to **** division though so they are fighting other cheats

AJ with life and death with Klitschko.

                  Fury outboxed him badly.

It's crazy, the way people talk about it you'd think that was the case. People even refused to give credit for Jennings who fought him before Fury.

Even now you have people criticizing Wilder for fighting the guy that shut Wlad out. Meanwhile AJs entire career was based off beating that Wlad.

Guys like Ortiz, Ruiz, Wilder etc. Were written off while guys like Aj-Whyte-JP-Pedvetkin were made out to be better. & this all stems from ignoring the BJ & Fury bouts vs Wlad.

                    Look at them now.
