Obviously the level of the person you lose to is in play to some degree still, but that largely seems ignored cuz plenty of guys have turned pro fighting a half dozen high level undefeated amateur stars & those L's rarely if ever get excused you are just deemed a loser no matter if 4 of your 6 L opponents end up fighting for or winning a belt one day or w/e.
IMO it's mostly since Floyd. Now you have idiot fans thinking that once you lose your 0 you're a bum, and fighters are afraid to take a challenge because of it.

This has been a humilting loss imo. Hunter is beating him on the outside, inside, has taken all of Kuzmins power shots and has knocked him down. That's hard to stay determined to win through all of that.

Now that Usyk has moved up he can rule CW if he so choose IMO
I get it, It was just a thought I had. I had flash backs to Larry Merchant saying "You have to ask yourself, will we ever see him in a boxing ring again" after a highly thought of guys lost a fight. He said it all the time.

I know. I think he'd be even better at that weight is all.

I like that fight. After tonight I favour Hunter due to Povetkin's age.

Hunter got hit a lot by a guy with glacial hand speed. Not a good thing....Ruiz and Fury would hit him 75 times per round.
