look manny loves the sport it is his life and he does not want to disrespect a fighter and champion like hill who has been around so long and can still fight. i just hope banks can get a piece of the title regardless of which it is. i would love to see him defend it in detroit. i dont think it would be out of the realm out of possibility for banks and klitschko to fight on the same card somewhere in the future.Comment

He showed real heart from what I was told. Heart made holyfield and gatti, micky ward, mancini, louis, braddock, and many other fighters. heart is what keeps fans coming back its what makes boxing special. Its the agienst all odds type of stuff that makes us as fans scream our selves horse. Not boxing skill or KO power but heart. Banks shows that he has it he has that intangeible that which will allow him to succeed in the biz over guys with more power speed and skill, because banks can bring it and you have to break his will in order to win. it would seem that a champion was born tonight one worthy of praise.Originally posted by Hitman932Comment

I don't know if he got winded or what. He didn't seem at all winded in round one, so why would he have been totally winded when round two started? Banks was on ***** street in round one. Castillo should have won the fight. I don't know why he stopped fighting after round one.

i think castillo was very discouraged after he didnt get banks out of there. watching that shot it slow motion it was definately the best shot that castillo had in him. when banks survived i think he knew he was in trouble.Originally posted by werewolf

I'd never heard of Banks before tonight but after he made it out of the first round and looked so calm and Steward looked so calm, something inside me said he would win the fight. I also noticed Castillo did NOTHING after the first round. Maybe Banks should go down in the first round every fight if it really takes the opponent out of his gameplan. I thought Castillo was pathetic and was happy to see Banks get the win after hearing he was a sparring partner for Lennox and Klitschko for years.Comment

it would be silly to rush banks into any title shot within the coming months. he still needs to hone his skills. he has only 70 fights - very, very inexperienced. he needs not only the fight experience, but the countless rounds of sparring against different styles. i do not think he would even be ready for bell/mormeck at this point.Comment

I was also impressed with Manny, he didn't get nervous about hi fighter. He said good job, way to get outta that round. I think Manny confidence in Banks helped him pull it off. I think manny is grooming him for the HW. he's the next M.MoorerComment

if he has the potental to be a two time champ and unified and maybe undisputed champ then I can't remember if moorer was the undisputed. eather way he would have a lot of work to to live up to double m.
