No catchweight or rehydration clauses for Kovalev. Canelo haters can suck it.

Kovalev held the IBF title for years also.

On that basis, I would be ok with a 10lb hydration limit, with a secondary weigh in at 8am, which is what Kovalev is used to. Anything more drastic would simply be a tactic by Team Canelo
... more precisely, Kova held the IBF belt for two years...

Yes, but also consider that Kovalev also rematched for his former titles also, so around 2.5 years

How is saying that fighting at catchweights and imposing rehydration clauses are crying for your hero. I'm not a fan of Kovalev or of Canelo so what's your point??

It doesn't say there is no rehydration clause...

And Kov only has 6 weeks to prepare. It's not like it's fair bro

Exactly. You’re part of the GGG groupies in nervous and hate mode as of late. Not hard to understand why!

IBF threw that rule out for unifications

                ironically, right before GGG/Canelo 1

It's why GBP made a hydration clause for Canelo/Jacobs and then lied saying the IBF did it.

they did that for the likes of jacobs trying to take an unfair advantage, they could have name it the jacobs rule instead of the unification rule ...
but they firmly believe in the morning rehydration clause and continue to use it in his own championship fights when other organizations are not involved... kova him self was an ibf champ until the ward fight i believe and is used to that, even whitout the ibf belt he had an unofficial weighin of 183 lbs vs alvarez, and thats before entering the ring, not even in the morning...so i doubt a rehydration clause is a handicap for kova like some want to make it look, but hopefully there isnt one which is most likely the case so far...

If it's not a handicap, then don't ****ing have one. Easy as that. When Floyd retired and Manny went inactive I was happy that all the catchweight/rehydration bull**** was ending, but no. It's in every ****ing Canelo fight now, and his ****riding groupie fans are just as bad as Floyd fans and Manny fans were with their "A Side!!!" bull****. ******s would rather cheer on contract negotiations and root for promoters than watch a damn fight.

And again, Canelo has put catchweight clauses or hydration clauses against Jacobs, Lara, Khan, Cotto, Chavez Jr, Matthew ****ing Hatton and Rocky Fielding FFS, Eurobums. This is why people don't believe that this fight isn't having one, not because of unwarranted hate. He put a ten pound hydration clause on Rocky Fielding who fights at 168, and he put a ten pound hydration clause on Jacobs who fights at 160.

i totally agree with this, it will be useless to even have one, and so far there isnt one ...
