You may be a paid shill...let me fall back.

Wilder: “I would not fight Anthony Joshua for all the money in the world.”

Wilder: “Its not about the belts no more, I don’t care about the belts, I’ve got the WBC baby, I don’t care about Joshua and I don’t care about his belts.”

Wilder: “The PBC will freeze you out”
      The topper!
Wilder: “ I Still Want Joshua Fight If He Loses Ruiz Rematch”

Do you believed Wilder? A simple yes or no would suffice because they can't all be true.
      1. Deontay Wilder is a principal in any discussion about a fight for Deontay Wilder, so his word is first-hand information (Wilder/Finkell/Haymon is the core team, DiBella is still in the mix, and he's got the relationship with Espinoza).

Wilder got a bull**** offer and moved on.

Wilder stands on his word, and he believes every bit of it; doesn't mean that Shelly Finkell can't have Wilder's demands, keep the line open to Barry or Eddie, and come back to Wilder with a new offer to consider.

And it doesn't mean that Wilder still can't say no.

Make up whatever statement you want

That version of Joshua would’ve gotten the guillotine by King Kong and he would’ve been the first Cuban heavyweight champion and essentially a legend!

Never understood why he didn’t take it, hopefully one day he’ll explain why cuz it was a risk that would’ve paid off!
It was a low ball, and Ortiz's management thought that they could get more. Tough titty some times.

Andy Ruiz took less money than even Ortiz was offered, played up the "fat kid eating Snickers" stuff to salvage the marketing, clipped Joshua in a shootout, and all hell broke lose.

Outside of the camp not telling Ortiz what was on the table and leveling with him on the plan, they did what they were supposed to do, even in hindsight.

No one is even talking about the difference between Ortiz purse for the first Wilder fight and the offer for the short notice fight against Joshua. Different situations that should not be compared. It is certainly fair game to speculate as to why Ortiz turn down the short notice offer given his past purses.

Seems to me the real discussion is whether or not arum is speaking truth.

Ortiz was offered more because that's the fight everyone wanted after 2 other guys failed to make the fight.Ruiz begged for the fight and bothered Hearn about it ,only when Kownacki declined did Ruiz get considered ,so you have zero logic again in another thread .

Ortiz highest pay was 500K but 7 million was low balling him?

Funny Ortiz was not informed of that 7 million and raged about it but his team did the right thing? What a F'ing dummy you really are .The fighter is SUPPOSED to be in charge of who he fights at least aware of offers presented,. lol

Well its nice to see Arum telling the truth for once. He just said Wilder is fighting a MUCH more dangerous fight then Fury who is fighting a top 30 guy.

How would Arum even know? He's not really friendly with Eddie Hearn, he does no business with the folks backing Luis Ortiz, and he doesn't even have a real in we DAZN either. Lol
Good point that will be lost by the casuals and fanboys.

If Arum was lying it would cause a rift between the two negotiation parties because THEY are the ones Arum/Haymon making the fight,do you think Haymon would let lies be told about his fighter and not respond ?

somebody just hit you with direct Wilder quotes and he probably took it easy on you ,but you still shift it away from Wilders character of LYING ALL THE TIME
Why the **** would Wilder/Haymon take the bait when everyone can see that Fury is ****ting the bed again on another US event, and any response will immediately be written up as "Wilder and Fury exchange barbs in anticipation of their fight", or some other bull****, and give folks a reason to even think of Fury's bull**** fight by using Wilder's name?

CAA hammered out the deal on behalf of ESPN, with Arum getting secondhand information, so what are you talking about?

Wilder is set to fight by the end of November, we'll see how he looks getting through that fight, and then Wilder will likely announce the actual date for the Fury rematch (forget all that nonsense about Fury already having the date set).

Jarrell got that publicly stated offer (no source saying that that was actually offered to Ortiz's camp in writing) in writing, and Ortiz is levels better an opponent than Miller was, lol.

Top 5 rated, nationally/internationally known heavyweight, and a legitamizer of the event, yet Hearn chose to pinch pennies? gtfoh
