Comments Thread For: Arum: Decorated Amateurs Can Be Fast Tracked at Pro Level

MGM Grand, Las Vegas, NV - It appears that 3-division world champion Vasiliy Lomachenko has started a trend that many Olympians fighting under the Top Rank banner will follow. Next month in his 13th professional fight, Shakur Stevenson will face Joet Gonzalez for the vacant WBO featherweight title. On December 14th, Teofimo Lopez will take on IBF lightweight champion Richard Commey in his 15th fight as a pro.

Meanwhile, Wilder was still being coddled all the way up to his 40th fight. Ortiz is the first challenge he had and that guy's almost the same age as Arum. Then they dragged Fury out of rehab to fight him, got another soft touch against Bumzeale, stalled the Ortiz rematch hoping he'd die of old age, and is now hoping Fury goes on another drug binge before he fights him again.

I f#cking agree with Bob. And several of these guys around right now have shown it to be a thing. Loma. Rigo. Usyk. Even doe Zou Shiming was a failure overall I felt like even he showed it to be true with how far he got quickly.

Guys like Joshua had about the same experience as Wilder. He didn't take 40 fights. Stop the BS.

What's up with Robson Conceicao of Brazil? Arum is not fast-tracking him.

No, Arum's forgotten more about this sport than you will ever learn, kid.
