A true mentor gives the pupil all the credit...to say you deserve a significantly higher cut when your guy has been taking shots to the head and body for years to finally get to that point, is just a bad look imo...sad story this one, even sadder than Abel and GGG imo.

If I were training my nephew and he finally got to that point, I would be thrilled for him that he had earned that much of an increase in pay...and I would be happy taking my usual payday and very grateful if he gave me a bump in pay at all.

This is just another sad story imo that for all the talk of Rozier saying Jacobs is like his son...in reality he just seems to appreciate Danny because of what Danny could do for him financially...sad to say but certainly seems that way.
    Who have you ever trained?
    Your postings sound unlogical

Ain't no loyalty when money is involved no matter who it is & how long they've been around. When there's big money involved that's when everybody's true colors come out. No contract intact is asking to get played at some point. Especially if he supposedly wasn't committed to Jacobs the way it's being said here. Who knows what the truth really is, but regardless it's not surprising at all. Like the saying "if money ain't change you, you ain't making enough".

The Eddie Futch and Lou Duva's but think about also the guys they made no money from and trained for years. So it's a flip side to this as well.
Hearns left Stewart over money and a disagreement over his career direction. Leonard left Dundee. Golovkin left Sanchez. It happens..

hmmmm, what is so different between Jacobs and GGG?? hmmm, whatever could it be..............
The difference is GGG went full racist calling Abel a fake Mexican

The other difference is Hauser (a man who advocated Haymon be lynched) admits this is a non story in his last sentence

Right now, there are hard feelings. But the two sides are in discussions through an intermediary. Ideally, they'll work things out and move forward as a team in the future.

Hard to judge situations like this without knowing what’s going on behind the scene.

All I know is, *** the 10% off of multi millions. When it reaches that level, 10% no longer applies.

Not to sound harsh but in Boxing, fighters deserve all the credit and glory for themselves. Sure it requires a good support team but at the end of the day, it’s just the fighter inside that ring taking punches and making crucial decisions.

I have trained Danny since he was 13. I never received 10% but after 18 years together when we get to the mountain top to give less than 1% to your trainer is not good

I dont live on what Danny does. You seem to forget this is a 18 year journey. And once we arrived it became a selfish endeavor. By the way since you want to comment. It was less than 1%
