Head to head I still favor GGG, 60/40...I would also say GGG is a bit better fighter overall...I was impressed with Nelo in fight 1, and thought he improved in fight 2...going in I had fight 2 being 50/50..but I still had both fights 8-4 to GGG...when he works behind the jab, his jab, stamina and workrate are just really good and hard to contend with, especially if you can't do anything to limit his output...he just scores too much, round in and round out imo.
Canelo did possibly steal some rounds where he was outlanded by landing some bigger shots/nice combos...it would be interesting to see if he can build on his success there...to see if GGG is slowing down any, or if he can slow GGG down any, or if GGG has a different gameplan with a new trainer as well, and can maybe land a telling shot on Canelo.
I think if they fight a couple more times, eventually one of them will breakthrough and breakdown the other one...I am interested to see who will break first...I think they both know how tough that fight is...difference is GGG is 37 and at the end of his career, and that is the biggest prize (legacy and money) for him...I assume he still gets a decent bump in pay for Nelo...whereas Canelo is much younger and has other similar money options out there...I can see why he is hesitant to mix it up again.
I do think they have some unfinished business though...and that GGG will be a big part of Canelo's legacy...so I would expect them to mix it up once or maybe even two more times.Comment

No, it 1-1 at worst. The first fight wasn’t really that close.Comment

I actually had both fairly clear to GGG...but they were both competitive exciting fights so I would like to see it again...and mainly because I do think if they fight a couple more times one of them will break down, we will see I hope.Comment

Canelo has been out here unifying belts at 160, moving up two weight classes taking on risky fights. What does GGG do? He fights Rolls and about to fight a guy who lost to Jacobs. GGG could have fought Andrade in June to put even more pressure on Canelo, the fight to become undisputed middleweight champion, it would have made the fight more meaningful. Now GGG has to earn his shot at the middleweight king. He can start by beating Andrade or Charlo.Comment

I want to see a third fight because the first two fights were great.
I think GGG is slightly better because he’s up 2-0 on my scorecard but it’s a razor thin margin. I also think as time passes Canelo will surpass him. Father Time is undefeated.
If they fought again, I would pick Canelo to win a super close controversial decision (and I would expect my scorecard to read 115-113 GGG)Comment

Lets see. Two of the top fighters in the sport engage in highly competitive, skillful fights that were razor close? Yea. Only troll fans of those fighters would want to see another one. Most people prefer one side butt whippings.Comment
