how? Duran wasn't moving up fighting catch weight bouts in a 4 belt per division era. Didn't fight Hager at a catch weight. Didn't fight the Blade at a catch weight. Bullied SRL around the ring. Battered Davey Moore. There is no one Pac beat that Duran wouldn't have beat. I don't see Pac beating SRL or even having a competitive fight.

Duran fought some killers and Pac, who I think it great btw, beat a lot of guys with names who were either at the end of their careers(Morales, Barerra, DLH,Mosley) or coming off losses and beatings(Cotto, Hatton, Margarito). I will give him credit for the Thurman fight, but I picked him to win that because I've always known that Thurman is a fraud. Great win for Pac though.

I offered the same criticism for Bud signing with Arum again. But I’m guessing he was offered a sweet deal and promised big fights. He is making decent money, but PBC fighters are hiding behind Uncle Al. Thurman, Garcia, Spence don’t want Bud’s title, instead PBC just refused to honor the WBO.

        Cope.

Duran and Pac are equals now. Two legends. I called it on the creation of my account I 2013 btw.

          That’s a “joke” apparently😂😂

The title belts on his mantle piece would suggest otherwise.

Why do you believe the pbc welters are hiding behind Uncle Al? Wouldn't it be more accurate to claim Crawford is hiding behind Uncle Bob? After all Crawford resigned with Arum knowing all of the other relevant welters were with pbc.

What credible boxing historian/publication has Pac=Duran? That's right, none and rightfully so. Pac is a great fighter but not Duran great.

Maybe Bud didn’t want the short money with PBC. Bud has earned over $13 million combined for his last three fights. Danny turned down $3M to fight him. Thurman wasn’t interested. Spence is too busy fighting and calling out much smaller opponents.

Not too sure on that. You need to wait until a fighters career is over before you start seriously eating them against one another.

Pac went from flyweight to light middle fighting and beating top guys. It's insane what he did. His legacy was already stellar before he moved up from bantam

What makes you believe Bud was only offered short money with PBC? Link? Danny turned down 3m to fight Bud? Link? Thurman wasn't interested? Link? Spence? Link?

All I see here is your opinion. Again the fact of the matter is that Bud resigned with Arum knowing that every other relevant welter was with PBC

Pac has an absolutely stellar legacy? No doubt, can't be argued. But let's remember he was never the undisputed champion of any weight class he fought in. I'm seriously not trying to knock Pac but no way in hell does Pac=Duran. Again, Duran is in most top ten p4p all time lists (and some top fives), will Pac be? No

I've said it over and over, Pac is a great fighter but not Duran great.
