    Here, let's do this.....

What did Duran do to eclipse what Pacquiao has done? One razor thin win over SRL just doesn't cut it.

Duran was 16-6 in title fights with his best win over SRL.

Manny is 27-6-2 in title fights with a dozen of those coming against hall of famers and 3 of those fights he really didn't lose.

Now that is established, it's clear that it's not even debatable so gtfoh with your nostalgia.
Ok douche bag, let's do this
Duran is in every credible p4p top ten list (and a lot of top five lists). Is Pac? No. Is he likely to be? No

If Durans win over SRL was razor thin, why did absolutely no one make the argument that
Leonard won. And what Pac win even comes close to a win over Leonard?

Title fight records? Let's not forget Duran continued to fight a lot longer after his prime than Pac has or will. Not to mention Pac had a lot more alphabet titles and weight classes to fight in.

Not one credible boxing historian/publication has or will rate Pac over Duran and rightfully so.

As I've said over and over, Pac is a great fighter but not Duran great. Gtfoh with your Johnny come lately ignorance.

      Johnny come lately lol

I watched SRL fights live in the 80's

Quote: In rounds, judge Raymond Baldeyrou of France scored it 6-4-5, judge Harry Gibbs of England saw it 6-5-4, and Poletti had it 3-2-10. William Nack called Polatti's scorecard "a monument to indecision."Unofficial AP scorecard: 144-141 Duran; unofficial New York Times scorecard: 144-142 Leonard.

That covers the SRL being a close win.

      Now,

You're still thinking two decades ago, chief. Everyone rates Pac over Duran now. Duran has one good win and that's is FAR superceded by Pacs dozen wins over hall of famers. Based on title fights and quality wins, which is how this should be judged, this argument isn't even close. You've been thoroughly abused here with relative facts. All you have is your opinion.

      Lol @ blinded by nostalgia

Watched SRL fight live in the 80s? As I noted, Johnny come lately. I've been a serious boxing fan a helluva lot longer than that.

A close decision over Leonard supercedes all of Pacs wins. Do you even know who Esteban Dejesus was? Probably not. If you did you would realize he is a better fighter than anyone Pac ever beat and Carlos Palomino is at least as good. You seem to put a lot of value in weight classes. You do realize Pac was never (not once) the undisputed champion of any he ever fought in?

Who exactly is "everyone"? As I posted, not one credible boxing historian/publication rates Pac over Duran, not one!

Relative facts? You mean relative opinion.

Again, Pac is a great fighter but not Duran great.

This is what Top Rank does. He has an impressive list of accomplishments on paper. But when you peel it back you're asking the question "But who did he beat?"

On paper Fury's 2 fights with Top Rank says he beat 2 undefeated fighters. But peel it back and you see it's Wallin & Schwartz.

Lol as soon as I read the first sentence of the 2nd paragraph, I know this is pointless. You're just not very smart and this is a waste of time.

And who do you want him to fight next?

All the PBC people in his division want no part of him. And this is the guy PBC fanboys love to ridicule for re-signing with Arum as if Thurman, Garcia, Spence, etc., are dying to fight him.

                  It's comical.

If he was really trying to get those fights he wouldn't have re-signed with Top Rank. Let is also not forgot that Crawford never once called for the Pac when he and Manny were both with Top Rank. He just seems content with letting Bob Arum guide him through a mediocre career path.
