Lol Hammer was in pure survival mode, got rocked on like 5 separate occasions & lost every round of the bout. Ruiz was literally a nobody pre-AJ.

Hammer was hitting him with rights the entire fight, you are a Wilder fan so you won't see things for what they really were. Ortiz was winning some very close rounds , Ruiz defeats Ortiz at this point so does Wall in who will show he's the best southpaw in the division win or lose Saturday night.

Wow, talk about mental gymnastics. Ortiz had high blood pressure, was old, and laboured against fragile Scott and domestic level Allen. He had Wilder needing the doctor in that fight, but didn't have the cardio to matain hes attack. The difference in Ruiz is much younger, and faster, and actually has a decent enough defence to get in. He proved that with Parker and AJ. Never mind Wlad dropped AJ, Sconiers dropped Wilder. The guy wobbled against Molina, so what? You got a guy who never stopped a world class heavy early, and now you got him stopping Ruiz, whos never been near stopped and who fought good young big heavyweights. No evidence to back up your fantasy prediction. What we do know, is you have no idea how Wilder will do with a fast punching hard hitting young heavy because he never fought one. He fought Ortiz who took him late and wobbled him despite being old and ill. And Fury who boxed hes head off despite being a fat drugged up blob for the previous two years. Nothing to suggest he stops Ruiz in one except your wild imagination.

Ruiz is stationary, he's been in numerous brawls, he wouldn't even be able to close the distance on Wilder. What about his bout with Zumbano Love made you scream world class about him?

THAT ref ALWAYS reffed Wilder in the past if you payed attention I wouldn't have to waste my time and tell you that and he let guys take punishment and fight on as hes a former fighter himself and is a mainly a PBC referee .

No, I do not accept that. Its completely subjective so you can't say that for sure. No two fights are the same nor the decisions made by Ref's and ringside judges.

I'm not going to argue the fact that Fury's count wasn't tight but Jack Reiss said that he wanted to give Fury 'every opportunity' and that if there was 'heavier earlier damage' then he would have waved it off. Fury got up and won the round (as with the first knock down) so it was the right decision to let Fury continue.

Wilder did not deserve to draw that fight, he was soundly beaten and should have lost the rounds that Fury was down, on the cards. Alejandro Rochin's card was an absolute shambles!

BUT...Fury's long count or whether he actually made the count is just as controversial as the Rochin scorecard. Most importantly, purely subjective.

It doesn't matter the reason why Wilder declined every highest pay day offer ,resulting in Dazn stepping in to really expose Wilder for what he was doing.....and that was sabotaging the fight where 120 million wasn't enough, get out of here, Ha

We know Wilders history and he jumps on fights where he has no question he will win so no ,Wilders actions suggest he wasn't confident at all signing a match with AJ.

I believe you are correct about Wilder's lack of confidence at the time. Now things are a bit different as AJ has shown he is vulnerable. I would also add that I believe AJ's confidence in his ability to now beat Wilder has suffered.

To be honest all that has happened with Wilder, Ruiz, Fury and Joshua has added a lot of intrigue to the heavyweight situation, something that was needed.

As far as boxing fans go, Ruiz was a nobody pre-AJ. However that is a bit different than saying he is not a world class fighter. Most of what I've read indicates that boxing insiders had great respect for Ruiz and his abilities. True, no one thought of him in terms of definitely beating the top five heavyweights but most thought he would give a good showing and was capable of pulling off the upset. Now that he fought and beat AJ I'd rate him as one of the top four but not number one.
