This is why professional athletes should avoid taking any pre/post workout supplements at all, and simply rely on actual food from their diet - you're playing roulette with any manufactured supplement. The banned substances list is constantly being updated, what is legal today may not necessarily be legal this time next week (let's not forget the Meldonium farce with Russian athletes). Also, once issues have been raised with specific foods (Mexican beef, uncastrated wild boar, etc) they should officially get added to the banned list.

UKAD wouldn't waste time and money organising a hearing without the result of B sample.
I understand UKAD need to "respect the individuals right to confidentiality" but there's nothing preventing Whyte, or his promoter, clarifying if the B sample has been tested, and what the result is? Or, if it hasn't, why not?

This entire episode, and the way it's been handled by BBBC, UKAD and Hearns absolutely stinks.

Whyte was cleared to fight Rivas after the revelation that his sample was found to be tainted.

Was he only cleared to fight Rivas for the one fight\one night and then he would go back into an uncleared state?

My experience tells me the B samples always tests the same , as it should , it only gets divided in 2 when you piss.. how they gonna wriggle out of this one and im sure Rivas and Micheal will have rightly something to say no doubt. I feel Hearn tried to smokescreen the failed test as he passed directly before the fight and directly afterwards.. those are not the tests in question I believe it was a test in June , if I'm wrong I stand corrected and apologise to all concerned .

Sounds as though he’s actually banned but their is a gagging order in effect by his legal team, he’ll no doubt fight again six months after the date of his dirty test and his team will spin it as though he was never banned but the findings have been settled.
