Yet another bizarre turn of events has surrounded the World Boxing Super Series-and this time from a boxer who has nothing to do with the tournament. It was the point that Derek Chisora wanted to make abundantly clear while asked to discuss his Oct. 26 heavyweight showdown versus former titlist Joseph Parker at London's O2 Arena. The bout will serve as the chief support to the WBSS 140-pound finals between unbeaten titlists Regis Prograis (24-0, 20KOs) and Josh Taylor (15-0, 12KOs), a status that doesn't at all sit well with the veteran heavyweight contender.

Chisora is no more than a mid tier contender - but 2 of those loses are disputed as he fought a juiced Whyte.

I'm not convinced it is PPV with Del topping the bill but as decent as the Taylor match up is Del is right nobody knows too much about either and without names on there, there wouldn't be any interest for a PPV event.Eddie 's always trying to slip one through and his ways often fool the idiots. He is using Parker and Chisora as under card to give the impression the top of the bill is worth more than it is.I'ts a good contest and should be a good fight but Del has bubbled Hearn and I don't blame him.

Taylor and Burns will bring 10k fans easy. Okolie, Benn and Parker Vs a replacement (Price? Povetkin?) will also sell good tickets.

Chisora doesn't have as much clout as he thinks when it comes to this show. Hearn will not be worried at all.

I like Del Boy but lol.... dude lost like 9 fights, why would his fight be bigger than a super lightweight unification? Hell, why is Parker the B side in their fight?

The people in the UK are paying to watch Chisora vs Parker, let's not kid anyone. No one knows Prograis in the UK at all, and barely anyone know Taylor.

Both Parker and Chisora have been in UK fight of the year.

Would Chisora vs Parker be a PPV fight, on its own, without the WBSS final?

I doubt it, and it certainly wouldn't sell as well without being paired with Taylor Prograis. In any case, it seems like Chisora isn't complaining about his money, as such, just the billing.

I obviously don't know every detail but I think it's safe to say that Chisora has signed already to do this. I can't imagine that there is a unless I change my mind clause in there.

Scotland is part of the UK and the WBSS has become a popular event in England.
