Benn has stayed in shape; Jones has been brutally KO'd in his last fights. This event should not happen. Shouldn't be approved by any rational boxing commission.

I don't disagree. But Nigel Benn even in his prime was not the most defensive of fighters either. Steve Collins made easy work of the dude. I wouldn't be worried about Roy, I'd be worried about Benn. At least Roy was somewhat recently active.

I said it before. A name is a name. People want to see their names. With Benn it's especially something because of the way he went out - completely dominated TWICE by Steve Collins.

Hell, if Hamed announced he wanted to fight Ruiz, I GUARANTEE you it sells out bigger than any other fight. Despite both guys being obese and one being out of the ring for nearly a decade.

Yeah but that's Jones' fault for thinking he could go up and down in class without harming his body. If he had not gone up to 175 and higher when he did, we would have seen some straight quality matchups from him during his absolute prime.
