He only signed to PBC like early this year, he had his first fight with them in april 2019, and got the Joshua fight a few weeks later, so how is Wilder meant to have ducked him? When he was on the shelf at Top Rank? When he was fighting Parker for the WBO belt? That’s a ridiculous thing to try and pin on Wilder or PBC.

Otherwise, they have not learned any lesson witnessing the downfall
of the guy they depended heavily on leading to a super fight.

He became known by associating himself with Joshua's name,
and behaved like he was going to retire after the Joshua fight
demanding huge amounts of money he will never make under his uncle Al's promotional banner.
And now the Joshua fight seems gone for him.
