How and when would Ruiz have come into the equation? He only signed to PBC like early this year, he had his first fight with them in april 2019, and got the Joshua fight a few weeks later, so how is Wilder meant to have ducked him? When he was on the shelf at Top Rank? When he was fighting Parker for the WBO belt? That’s a ridiculous thing to try and pin on Wilder or PBC.
