I agree with you on Usyk being the better boxer by a bit. Other than possibly Usyk, nobody at HW outboxes Fury. Wilder & Klitschko are the same height as Fury & he outboxed both of them for most of the fight aside from a few rough spots. He might not be the most entertaining to watch unless he's clowning around, but he has real skills for a HW.

He isn't. Fury is a better boxer than Usyk. Tony Bellew was outboxing Usyk for 6 Rounds. Let's not overrate the smaller man's boxing ability here. He is a good boxer, he has incredible stamina and punch output, that's his skill. Fury will toy with him though. The Fury from 6 years ago (Cunningham) No, but now, cat with a ball of wool.

His boxing is going to give a lot of the heavyweights trouble.

How high he can go will just depend on whether or not he can take heavyweight punches. Or at least have a good enough defense to avoid being hit flush.

Id like to see Oilskin Parker take on Usyk, after he beats Chisora.

Parker to beat Usyk, then take on Pulev to win and clear a path to the Ruiz/AJ winner or Windmill.

Thing is that Valuev would be one of the top heavyweights if he was here today and he was still one of the top heavyweights back then.

Say what you want but I was impressed that a 7' 330lb guy could go 12 rounds with ease and didnt have any stamina problems. He threw arm punches like Fury does, which conserves energy and at that size arm punches still have some thud.

I think usyk is among the best of today's boxers. Possibly the best after Fury.

I don't see his size as an issue. There are smaller hw. Ruiz is shorter. So usyk can bulk up easily since his body is quite gifted.

The only two fighter beating Usyk most likely are Fury and Wilder. The former always and anyway. The latter if he can catch him with his powerpunches.

I think it could go either way. He has fought big men during his amateur career and there's no reason to believe that he'll be any less skillful at the higher weight class. It could of course go the other way and he won't be able to hang with these giants at the elite professional level.

I kind of take issue with the fact that he's been mandated as a challenger to the belts and given a high ranking without even fighting at the weight first, I do think that's BS. The fact that so many people have questions as to his viability means to me that he should just do it first before being allowed to jump the queue.
