Where did Espinoza say that this year's boxing budget was $30m, because basically everyone here is working on the knowledge that the Showtime deal matched basically the FOX/FS1 deal and that package was said to approach $60m per year for 4 years. Lol

Exactly how I feel. There is a whole lot worse out there. I do agree it is not PPV quality. They need like three other legit title fights on this thing, with a co-main that actually has a 50/50 outcome. Let's face it- the idea of a violent KO is why people will tune in, and at PPV prices that is not enough. Too many streaming options.

But the fight itself is still sellable. Ortiz seems to fight up or down to his level of opponents, so I expect a much better version than his last two efforts. But he is on the wrong side of his career, and Wilder will work himself into full rabid Rottweiler mode by fight night. I like Ortiz more than most and believe he will throw everything he has left at Wilder, and I will not pick him here. Wilder right around the same point- round 8 of an equally fun fight as the first.

Yes the ppv would require a decent undercard, as should all ppv events to be fair.

I see a wilder win but hes playing with fire if he goes in like the stiverne rematch and takes loads of chances early, could walk on to something big. Even tho ortiz looks to be on the slide a touch i still see it as a tougher test than kownacki
