Is Putting BJS On The Logan Paul vs KSI II Card A Good Decision

I know plenty of people are gonna hate on this fight cuz its the thing to do, but to me this seems like a opportunity to introduce some next gen boxers to non-boxing fans that could make them boxing fans. And yet somehow BJS is the co-main.

Dont get me wrong I dig BJS, but I think there are better guys to put on this card to sell to non-boxing fans & potentially make them lifelong fans of.

I think Id have put Haney as the co-main since hes already got a decent SM following already. Maybe throw Anthony Sims in the 3rd main fight on the card.

And beyond that I think I fill this card with young cats on the way up still in 8 rd or less fights to keep mfers attention & maybe they will do that as bouts get made.

But primatily BJS as the co-main seems like a blown opportunity to catch the eyes of young fans cuz Im kinda feeling like BJS isnt sellable to the masses & has the potential to offend this more PC group coming up in the future anyway.

It’s brilliant because people who like boxing will actually watch the card now.

      No it's not...

Saunders is a boring fighter. Let's just be honest. If people watch him fight they won't really be excited about boxing if they are casuals. Casuals like Knockouts

I don’t expect anyone who’s buying DAZN for the first time because they’re Logan Paul or KSI fans to become boxing fans.

I see where your coming from but cant see it working. He would be better putting ko artists in with easy opponents. The audience wont be interested in technical fighters like saunders and haney.

If anything this may be hearns way of making the card legitimate towards real boxing fans

100% my thinking. I respect BJS & think hes a dark horse in w/e division hes competing in these days, but hed not be on my short list or my long list of guys to have non-boxing people to watch to attempt to make them casual or hardcore fans.

I love the idea of putting world-class boxers on the undercard -- but BJS and Haney ain't the ones. The casuals watching are going to want to see KOs, not slick boxing.

the Ramirez Hooker fight would have been perfect to attract new fans

Thats shortsightedness on your part then.

Plenty of people here became boxing fans off of that first time we watched some big boxing event. Like it or not this is likely the biggest boxing event ever that non-boxing fans will be watching. Im not talking casual fans to be clear. Casual fans watch boxing here & there now when something attracts them. The mfers watching this fight are going to be many people who've never seen a pro boxing match in their life. And you arent incorrect with the belief that this could very well be the last fight many of them watch, but there still lies a tremendous opportunity to create completely new lifelong young boxing fans & I dont see BJS maximizing your chances to do that to the full potentional you might otherwise do with guys who might better catch the attention on noob eyes.

unfortunately teofimo lopez isnt signed to matchroom. He would be the perfect choice for that audience.

they have that weird looking dude nikita ababiy, who is doing fortnite dances and other ******ed stuff, but I dont think that he will be very successful later on.
I also wouldnt put smaller than welterweight fighters on that card, because casuals often associate boxing with big dudes, at least in germany.

Josh Kelly against the right opponent should also be considered. Has the looks and a flashy style.
