When Derev was an option last year he took Vanes. Then he took Rolls, lol. Now that the options are Andrade and Derevychenko now he wants to fight Derevychenko because he thinks its the easier of the 2.

Nobody in boxing can touch Canelo's resume, he is truly the Pound for Pound king based on what he has done as a PROFESSIONAL, not an amateur.

The thing with Canelo's wins, are that if it was someone else instead of Canelo who fought them at the time, would people still chalk it up as a win of any significance? Kirkland, Chavez, Angulo, Khan, Mosley-all of them names, sure, but do they really stack up as anything special, instead of just a name, if they were on someone else's resume, everything else remaining constant?

Good! Fighting for a belt soon and against decent opposition is a good first step. The GGG brand took a hit with all that waiting. Imagine how much GGG would earn per fight had he faced and beaten Charlo and Andrade. Canelo is focused on getting $$ for the time he invested since turning pro at like 15. The Kovalev fight is like RJs HW fight when Roy realized the end was near. Roy didn't want Wlad he wanted a statement fight that looked good and still had credibility because of the huge weight difference. No one should be waiting on Canelo, he's on his on path and is taking steps to walk away from the game on is own terms and leaving behind a legacy that satisfies his expectations not ours.
