He has to expose Ruiz’s weaknesses? What is he going to do, bring a meatball sandwich into the ring?

He kept giving up position to the slow feet Ruiz and couldn’t establish position in middle of ring actually fighting having to go backwards... Even aj was asking McCracken after just the first round what’s next game plan because he wasn’t able to establish position
I'm not using compubox...you said Ruiz was hitting Joshua clean every round, that's not what I saw in the first 2 rounds, I saw 2 very cagey rounds hence why I brought it up...

Joshua needs to learn how to fighter shorter opponents. It's amazing he never did anything to fix it before now. Can't see him improving that much. But maybe all he has to do is keep his distance and take his time like he did against Povetkin

The thing that stood out to me is how much Ruiz had to lunge to get at AJ. And this was despite AJ's pawing, basically non-existant jab. The height and distance, and Ruiz's relatively slow feet had him almost launching in like a torpedo. I think he was emboldened when he wasn't greeted with a hard jab and right follow in the face. Have to see if AJ can establish this in the rematch or it will be the first fight all over again.
Precisely, first 2 rounds were very cagey, both fighters were trying to figure each other out, neither was 100% comfortable at that point of the fight. As you said Ruiz was at times lunging in a bit.

I reiterate that I believe Joshua can win this fight if he fights using his physical advantages I.e. his height and reach. Ruiz has faster hands so he cant get into trade with Ruiz as he will likely lose. But if he keeps him at a longer range, then he can pick off Ruiz off. Ruiz doesn't have great footwork nor head/upper body movement

Your first statement was aj was outboxing Ruiz which I disagreed with now it’s switch to cagey which I can agree to a certain extent, but the cleaner punches was landed by Ruiz in first two rounds with Joshua just throwing out a lazy jab and giving up position to many times. He still hasn’t learned how to fight shorter guys and with Ruiz hand speed and already knowing he can take aj punches and walk through them to land his shots this rematch doesn’t look so good

I said he was out boxing him early and specifically gave the example of AJ walking Ruiz onto a shot and knocking him down. I didnt say he was winning any particular round, you just jumped the gun..

You know it is possible to outbox someone even if the fight is cagey/ competitive

The first time he had him down?....??? How many times does he think he had Ruiz down....this is exactly why this delusional cartoon character is going to get knocked out

Both fighters have the ability to beat each other 'I am not sure why certain people are speaking as if, Andy Ruiz Junior is Dr Manhattan'.

I think the rematch is 60/40 fight just in favor of Andy Ruiz Junior.

I wonder how cagey AJ is going to try and be. He already become a more cautious boxer after the Wlad fight and now he’s been knocked out..

I think if he’s TOO cautious, it’ll actually work against him. He is not a great boxer, he’s not going to completely comfortably outbox anyone in a chess game, and he hasn’t got the movement and boxing skills of someone like Fury and stay away all night, so there’s going to be times where he still has to engage.

I think if he’s too cautious, Ruiz will just go right at him knowing he can hurt him. I think AJ has to walk a very fine line between trying to use his reach and jab, but still be aggressive when he can be.

I’ve always said this rematch is going to be about mentality more than ability. How AJ is going to be in the ring now he’s been stopped. He said in an interview with Frampton just before the Ruiz that if he had another fight like the Wlad fight, he’d retire, which says to me he isn’t really cut out of wars.

As for Ruiz, will he still have that desire now he’s world champ and had that win?
