Another American ducking a fight and refusing to be tested. Just another day in the mental asylum.

If Lara wants a title shot he needs to earn it by beating a solid top 10 contender.
And what did Williams do to deserve a shot at Hurd? Get knocked out by Charlo? At least Lara has a resume at world level and is a former champ.

Who else deserves the chance? Or are you scared Lara ****s him out and gets those titles?

I don't think Hurd is juicing necessarily, most likely explanation is he came to his senses and doesn't want to catch another beatdown.

Yeah exactly, this reeldeel dude sounds like a hater. I’m not a big Lara fan but he has been in there with top dudes and has grinded for the past decade.

Always down to take on anyone, in a lot of peoples eyes he should have no losses just a couple draws.

I’m a casual fan, but man these haters come out on these threads like ****.

I love watching Hurd fight but I'm kind of suspecting that you might be correct. Kind of disappointing.

Thing is, Williams isn't a cherry. Williams is a terrific all-around fighter that was labeled "chinny" bc of the Charlo fight. Seems when a guy is labeled that they're automatically a cherry. Harrison is another guy who's skills & quality as a fighter are overshadowed bc of this. He negated Hurd's size & beat him at his own game on the inside bc he's the better, stronger all-around fighter. I like Hurd but he needs to go back to boxing a bit more like he did when he stopped Galarza.

Best 154er for last 5 years needs to earn a title shot at His own weight ? He is regular WBA champ that makes him no 1. Challenger

J Rock fought a great fight against Hurd. And if Hurd is changing trainers then he doesn't need to jump back into a rematch. Also Hurd is too big for the division I believe he secretly is struggling to get down to 154. Plus he needed to switch trainers because he was taking too much damage. As for J Rock i want to see him against Charlo or Lara.
