For instance (and I am not giving any opinion) but RJJ and Darius M. never fought each other. There I can safely say somebody avoided somebody or they both avoided each other. Margarito, Floyd, Hatton... all young and still plenty of time for great fights. Patience is a virtue.
thats well said if someone is "avoiding" the other dont hate them just because of it wen the time comes and the fight happens then speak all you want but not before

My mate Dave has know Hatton since they were kids and has said Mayweather has been offered a very good deal to fight but is not taking it. I don't blame Mayweather. He would ruin his reputation if he fought Hatton. Hatton would walk through Mayweather's punches and destroy (and maybe retire) him.

Hatton has the better chin, punching power and most importantly a much bigger heart. I hope for fight fans around the globe, Mayweather stops ducking him.
Hatton would walk through Mayweather and retire him? Like the way he ran through Collazo?

He could possibly pressure him the way JLC did, but he aint running through him and retiring him. Be real.

OK, maybe Hatton might not retire Mayweather - but he'd have to pick a new nickname after the fight cause he'd be done by the Trading Standards Agency for being called Pretty Boy. Anyway, that is my opinion.

What is scientific fact though, me mate Dave has know Hatton since they were kids and promised me down the boozer last night that Mayweather is ducking Hatton

Listen they aren't ducking each other. They are two top ranked undefeated guys that both want a lot of money to fight. A fight like this is hard to make as both want the majority of the cash and neither wants to take an even split. If anybody can even be accused of ducking it is Hatton and it is not even his own fault. His management team doesn't want to risk it for whatever reason but probably because they realize that being undefeated is a major bargaining chip and draw. So why risk it now when the fight can be as big or bigger down the road.

problem is that hatton got his shot pretty late on and is was a real toughie against Zoo, so now he's not got the time to take defences and have breaks between big fights.

Warren defended him for too long and the British fight fans are willing to pay enough that you don't need to prove yourself at world level to make a living. Make no mistake, Hatton has a lot of talent, but he's loding out in the promotional war and might end up having to take a Floyd fight on unfavourable financial terms or miss out on more superfights.

Lets not forget he's already done a fair bit in his last three fights. Beat a HOFer, unified and then gone up and fought Collazo (who I think will go on to win a title again) at shortish notice.

So I wouldn't begrudge him a defence, but time is running out for the Hitman....
