Who would you prefer he fights as a first fight at 135?

All I am asking is find me a better suited opponent other than Yuriorkis Gamboa for Gervonta Davis' Lightweight debut.

How about Robert Easter or rances Bartholomey? I don't even know how gamboa got ranked over them anyway. Verdejo would b better too. Id even rather see him fight Denys Berinchyk. Hell, if it's early 2020 that'd b enough time for Luke to b ready for another fight which would be way better than gamboa.

T Lopez is a descent fight @ 135, Masayoshi Nakatani as well, seemed durable against Lopez, good gage.
Easter is available, Jorge Linares, Cambell too. No a 130lb 37 year old against a 24 yo, spells superstar doesn't it.

So the promoter/network thing will prevent the fight from ever happening then? Loma already said he's down for the fight and Tanks team said they ain't ready.

They'll be ready after Loma slips a tad more I'm guessing. MP has one fighter who can be a superstar, they won't risk him getting beat anytime soon.
