I think the other thing is to make sure we compare apples to apples. Loma did win in his 3rd pro fight. He was 25. No one has won a title in the 3rd pro fight but many had won world titles before 25.

Not every poster thinks loma is great. That is going to happen. I think the only issue is the unfair BS trolling.

Loma is a great boxer, one of if not the best in the world imo, regardless of what other posters, even posters I like and respect like cobra, think.

When most people use overrated it is not in the context which you have just implied. Lomachenko is a talent and probably once a generation one but part of being an ATG is how long you box professionally and I highly doubt Lomachenko fights long enough to do so.

But these people who just want to see him lose. Ridiculous. Compared to other fighters Lomachenko is clean. Hes respectful. And above all he cares for the sport and not the money.

Loma is ranked #1 p4p. He keeps fighting not the best opponents. He isn’t taking any 50/50 type fights but all fights where he is the favorite. He didn’t win his last fight by ko or tko. He left 130 without fighting the top guy, Berchelt and instead plans to fight him at “not his best weight. He waited to fight Walters when walters didn’t have the best chance to win. His fans think he is an ATG before he’s even defeated any HOF level opponent. All his wins are getting discredited. The people that do the most criticizing don’t look like him.

Funny, but I’ve seen NSB react like this before to another boxer in a similar position.

Dude you have no idea what his motivation is. Here is a guess- it’s likely money since he is a pro prize fighter.

See this right here, making him out to be holy when you have no idea, is what cause some of the responses.

As for wanting to see him lose, yes some do. Is that any different than some posters wanting to see Rory, Floyd, ward or Canelo lose?

This is my whole point- we’ve seen a number of fighters get this kind of treatment. I just hate when those responsible for that garbage get upset when it’s done to a guy they like.
