Same here. I’m a fan of Loma, his achievements already are outstanding, but he’s not one of the GOAT’s.
Would the likes of Duran, Chavez, even Moseley and De la Hoya at lightweight go twelve rounds with Campbell? I doubt it.
OK he’s not a true lightweight, but look at his face after fighting Pedraza, who also used to fight at super feather.
He was badly marked up, and Campbell marked him up too.

He has just struggled with Luke Campbell a fighter who MAY never win a world title 'These are the facts, every single round was competitive'.

Lomachenko has never really produced a master class performance on the level of? Roy Jones vs James Toney, Bernard Hopkins vs Antonio Tarver or Kelly Pavlik, Floyd Mayweather vs Canelo Alvarez etc

But through the media/boxing community, boxing fans are being continually told that Lomachenko is that type of fighter 'Cut from the same cloth as the past greats, he has been compared to Neo from the matrix'

I think people within boxing have gotten carried away, and are suffering from extreme sensationalism 'Lomachenko is just what is hot right now, so in today's culture people are bound to get abit out of hand' Luke Campbell in my opinion has just brought Lomachenko and his supporters back down to sea level.

Loma is in same situation Floyd found himself in. You outclass so many fighters that people expect you to make it look effortless every time, against everyone.
Barry Hearn said Campbell lost by 4-5 rounds. He didn’t say Campbell won by landslide in this interview.

I don't like making excuses, but I have come to this conclusion via 'Observing Lomachenko's fights' and being unaffected by large sections of the boxing community, who most likely line up to buy the new iPhone every-time a new one is released 'Like lemmings'.

'It is clear to me that people are suffering from sensationalism when it comes to Lomachenko, he is just a fighter who is hot right now' Which is going to have a effect on Lemmings.

People use the EXCUSE of him being out weighed by his opponents, because they know he is not good enough 'Nobody was making these excuses for Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao' who where routinely fighting opponents who out weighed them by 10-20+ pounds on the night of the fight.

No one can beat Lomachenko. He's the best boxer I've ever witnessed. And he's not ashamed to fight a little bit dirty. And even some of the dirty things he does, like taking his opponents back, take extreme dexterity and boxing IQ to do. This is what can be achieved when a person dedicates there entire life to one purpose.

I have been saying this for weeks, and get crushed for it.

Good? Heck yes, Great? Naw, at a minimum the jury is still out, not until he moves up in weight to 140, 147 like the true all time greats.

I was wondering what you were talking about because I wasn't the only one who saw it but it looks like the article was updated so that quote was probably changed.
