  • Haney's dad says they signed with Hearn specifically to get the Loma fight

For the idiots saying Haney just clout chasing. This was a calculated decision to sign with the place that can deliver the fight. Hearn better get him the fight. He's a co-promoter so he does what Haney says.

    Timestamped at 20:05

20:50: Names Lomachenko as the fighter they want the most. That's the are step up fight for them

21:40 Explains their strengths and Loma's weakness

22:30 the only fighter he thinks is on Haney's level that he's dealt with is Stevenson

23:52 How many people Loma beat with the attributes of Haney

24:53 Physical attributes Devin has that. Just as tall as Floyd with a longer jab.

27:40 Talks about taking Devin out of school at 13 and traveling the world to have him spar and train in different gyms to get Devin all types of different looks and styles

28:20 They signed a co-promotion deal with Hearn to get the Lomachenko fight. If they didn't want the Lomachenko fight they would've signed with PBC knowing Top Rank don't do business with PBC

If that's what they wanted then shouldn't they have signed with Top Rank instead?

Surely Top Rank would’ve been a better option then?

Sure, Hearn and Arum worked together on a Loma fight but that’s because Hearn could bring him to London to a 20,000 arena and PPV fight, so there was incentive for Arum. It won’t be the same when it comes to Haney

        Nothing against Haney
But shouldn’t he have gone to the right street

I've been saying that signing with a group shouldn't disqualify people from fights, but how does signing with matchroom GET YOU Top Rank fighters? Haney signing with DAZN makes it look like he's trying to get the Ryan Garcia fight.

We seen Luke Campbell give Bumchenko all he could handle. Devin Haney is on another level! This BUMS time is coming to an end.

In fact, Haney was suppose to been fought for the WBC Lightweight title vs. Luke Campbell, Bumchenko came along and stole it!

              Thats makes zero sense...

I really need to find that video of Arum telling him "you signed with wrong promoter" when asked about possible Loma fight

Does Top Rank have any co-promotion deals with their fighters? Haney's promotional company ain't a fake promo company for tax purposes like most fighters. His company actually promotes fights on their own before the DAZN deal

Unfortunately in today’s bullchit , yes it seems to me the right side would of been Top Rank
Then their would be no bullchit excuses from the Loma camp or for that matter from anyone
Haney seems to instead have chased the mighty dollar

But we saw Hearn & Bob just do Ramirez vs. Hooker & Campbell vs. Loma. So why would they not do Haney vs. Loma?
