OK, he didnt fight Margarito who is the most overhyped guy in history in terms of accomplishments. This guy has the same accomplishments as a prospect has and even less then alot of them but yet he is supposed to be Ali.
My ****ing ass. Margarito is never compared to Ali except by maybe Ferocity, and if you let guys like him color your judgement...that's just very unfortunate.

The only thing the boxing community needs to ask of Floyd is to fight good fighters and to do it now, not in 2007.

Stop watching boxing if you don't like when a guy boxes. You're blasting on a guy for being a "glorified club fighter" in one thread, and then you come here saying you don't like watching technical boxers, either. Go watch MMA if all you want to see is dudes slugging it out, or street fights... something, but for **** sake stop watching boxing if all you want to do is see two guys war.

All you think about is Margarito but didnt Floyd just ask for fight against Oscar, Shane, and Hatton? Come on now, dont act like he hasnt already beat elite guys and dont act like he still isnt trying to fight them. There is only one guy he turned down and that just happened to be the guy that doesnt deserve the fight even a percentage as much as the other guys I just named.
the question is has he fought oscar and em? or beaten them for that matter? he had beaten some of this era's best but there's still a lot of them out there

What are you talking about? Half the writers dont even like Floyd and its guys like you who are the one's killing the sport. Your cant wait until he loses. Thats what all the writers and fans say and thats the problem. Why do you guys do that?

RJ was a great fighter and he lost at age 35. Big deal? That means he sucks now? All you guys do is wait around for a guy to lose and then act like everything he has done means nothing? Thats garbage. If Floyd loses then he loses. He's already fighting at bigger weights then he should and if he loses then it will be to a elite guy who is much bigger then him so whats the problem with that? That will then make him a fraud or a bum?

            *yawn*

I'm growing tired of e-wars where both sides' only refuge is to overreact to everything the other side says. This is most assuredly not the first article that so happily defends Floyd and chides his detractors. To the point, you are simply overestimating the amount of 'haters' Floyd has.

It is not 'hating' to expect Floyd to take a challenging fight sometime this damn year.

Again, he didnt ask Oscar, Shane, and Hatton for a fight? Besides, Im surprised you keep saying things like this when Floyd is similar to your boy RJ in being ripped but yet you always defended RJ like your still doing now. Floyds oppenents have been way better the the clowns Roy was fighting

While I am a huge Mayweather fan, I'll gladly agree to that. It doesn't have to be Margo, but he better get a really good opponent in there. Try for Cotto, Hatton, whoever, but not some bum again. It's about time he stepped his competition back up. He really hasn't fought anyone top-notch recently. I can understand fighting Sharmba as a tune up in the weight class, but what I can't really understand is why he didn't go for Hatton or Cotto first. He wanted Zab, that was fine, but I would have rather had him fight Hatton first. Then Zab loses like the ******* he is when he fought Baldomir, but the fight was already set, and it went through anyhow, but Floyd pretty much beat him all night.

There's a lot of guys out there for him to take, and there's even more he shouldn't take, let's hope that he makes a good choice.

his "greatness" cannot be measured by how many people he called out its on who he fought
