I gave a lot of rounds to Campbell. I thought he was very smart in doing exactly what the experts said he had to do: use the long reach, be first, keep the jab going, and stay off the ropes.

It seemed Loma was simply waiting on him to tire, so for me, despite Loma briefly getting Campbell to the ropes or landing a powerful single punch now and then, a lot of rounds were dominated 2:30 to 0:30 by Campbell.

Gradually Loma's power punches became more impressive, and by the championship rounds he was in control.

Campbell boxed fine. Just not fine enough to win.

Campbell did good, landed solid shots in pratically every round and shook loma here and there but LOMA DID BETTER! landed better shots and everytime Campbell shook loma a bit loma GOT IT BACK!

Unless you score a fight round by round I think you lose your right to cry about the score cards etc cause like everyone says but I fear very few really understands it is FIGHTS CAN BE VERY COMPETITIVE ROUND BY ROUND AND STILL HAVE A CLEAR CUT WIDE WINNER! I feel OP falls into this category sadly.

I'm an American who is actually a HUGE Loma fan but I'm also unbiased. I know how well Luke did tonight so it's a crying shame so many didn't also see how well he did.

He DID well. I just won a sh^tton of money on him going the distance like I expected him to. He just didnt win rounds. He was merely competitive in rounds. Again there is a huge difference between doing better than expected & winning.

Campbell did very well, as expected. He is no joke.

I gave him one round (the first) which was basically a nothing round anyway. I had to stop watching around round 8 because I was getting breakfast for my kids - I hear that he also took rounds 9 and 10. But just because he only won 3 rounds doesn't mean it wasn't close.

Campbell frustrated Loma's offense. He used his extra reach to good effect, keeping a constant supply of straight punches coming, preventing Loma from closing the distance too easily. Loma had this totally worked out by round 3. He was slipping almost everything and sneaking in punches of his own. Campbell was still landing some clean shots, but often he did it while he was moving backwards and they had nothing on them at all. He was throwing his hands a lot, but without a lot of accuracy or plan. That's great for keeping distance if you have a big reach advantage, but not great for much else.

I think the biggest difference was in the footwork. Loma's feet are sublime. Campbell has a bit of an awkward stance, legs too far apart. This can be an effective way of using height and reach advantages (Vitali Klitschko was known for this) but it didn't seem to help Campbell too much.
