Its Ward and Bradley. Honestly for how much biased people say they are for Loma they are horrible at commentating. They wanna create a narrative that's not actually reality.
The Fury vs Povetkin fight was also bad.
Funny enough doesn’t Ward and Bradley work for ESPN? And Lomachenko is an ESPN fighter too. Usually you have them scoring everything to the network that they work for. As good as Campbell did tonight he didn’t do enough to make the fight close on the scorecard, and it was reflected in the unanimous decision tonight.
You must be a UK guy. Seen most reasonable objective cats on twitter saying it was x to 1 going into the 2nd half of the fight. Seen the UK fanboys talking about it was 5-3 & sh^t like that.
Luke was competitive IN many rounds, but he wasnt winning THE rounds. There is a difference
I'm an American who is actually a HUGE Loma fan but I'm also unbiased. I know how well Luke did tonight so it's a crying shame so many didn't also see how well he did.
He beat a great fighter. Anyone winning Gold Medals in the Olympics is no joke.
Plus, styles make fights. Anyone who has fought knows tall, rangy fighters who are also very very good are tough to beat.
i dont think campbell is a great fighter by any means, at least not in the pros imo, but it was a good fight, i dont know if its age, size or the opponents style but i really didnt expect loma to get hurt or had so many close rounds with luke, he won no doubt about it... good win regardless...
Yes, Ward actually said it would be decided in the Championship rounds - as if it was even until the 10th!
Ward was sitting right there and he was right. Even though the judges already had the fight in the bag for Loma by the 10th round, it actually was decided in the championship rounds. I gave the nod to Loma because he finally came around in the last two rounds but he DID give away rounds 9 and 10.
I thought Campbell won 3 or 4 Rounds. Whilst I think Loma is great, I still think there's weaknesses there and I could easily see him getting knocked out by Gervonta. I still think that even P4P that Tyson Fury is harder to beat than Loma. I think Fury would toy with a Campbell level guy at HW, whilst Loma won most the rounds, he was made to work very hard for it.
