Williams has a terrible defense, he gets hit way too easy and Margarito would put him away within 7.

You are assumin that Margarito will stand up to his power. Williams sparred with him already, so there is history. If he felt he couldnt beat him, he would call him out.

Margarito has a looping punch. A straight puncher will always get to the mark first. Williams throws 90-100 punches a round. No one at 147 can match that volume.

i think the matchup is great. two guys with some good power that can let big punches fly when the need to. I dont think it could be an ALL TIME great fight, but it is boxing. boxing needs another castillo corrales, and so does margarito if he wants to gain a lot of fans

The Jones fight was years ago, and Tony was outweighed by at least 10 lbs vs Santos, who admittedly blew up to 170+ for their rematch.

Also, Cintron was bigger than Tony. Lewis was as big. Tony has nowhere near the trouble making 147 that Vargas hasmaking 154, period. if you think so, you're just wrong.
