Also, this raises questions for Pacquiao, like why didn't he fight the winner of the Raheem-Morales fight?

Also, Danny Garcia was the wone to retire Erik Morales. Vyacheslav Senchenko was the one who retired Ricky Hatton. Broner and Thurman aren't retired, Antonio Margarito went on to fight four more times.
Then why you ask the ****ing question ?

He jumped on Morales because he wanted that rematch. Any fighter who loses wants that. Morales lost to Zahir because he moved up in weight and went up to a weight class he's not effective at.

Let's be honest, Erik wasn't even a true 130lber in my eyes. He was beast at 122lbs. He was never the same when he moved up. Lost a lot of his punching power and true aggressive style that he had at 122lbs. Pac fought Erik that was more of a tactician and pretty good at that but not like his 122lbs self.

Still, Pac. wasn't all that well rounded yet either when he fought 130lbs Erik so it kind of balanced out. A whirling aggressive boxer puncher vs a skillful tactician who had enough pop to keep fighters honest at 130lbs but probably not enough to fight true toe to toe.

If Raheem had beaten MAB first then Erik woulda then beat him. Erik is my all time favourite fighter. Zahir Raheem was never a good matchup for him. Also Erik sometimes played down to his competition. One of his trainers said he’d have a great fight with a cab driver. Erik’s motivation in the first Manny fight was the fact that Manny had beaten Barrera. Erik was never gonna lose that fight. He was the last King of Mexico. But Erik’s just not as good as Manny. He’s good enough once. That’s why we love him. He went southpaw. He went out on his shield.
