Funny that way back in 2010 or around those times, people were claiming that Morales was already shot when he had back to back KO losses to Pacquiao. Now they're having a hard time saying that because Morales came back to the sport had decent performances against young and hungry lions like Maidana and Garcia.

Now the argument has changed from being 'shot to s.hit' to 'not being prime' from the haters. I think that's quite an improvement for re-evaluating Morales' Pacquiao losses if you ask me.

Morales took Raheem lightly. He didn't take Pacquiao lightly, he came to win.

Raheem did wash him, but Erik didn't really take that much damage I'm that fight, and styles make fights. Raheem's style was all wrong for Erik.

Manny obliged him in a toe to toe war. Big difference.

As a fan of pacquiao no he did not... but the first time they fought that was the last hurrah of morales’ best/prime. After that it was downhill from there. i think the pacman war took a lot in him as well eventhough he won that fight.

So the other question should be how far was pacquiao from his prime when Morales beat him?

Also, this raises questions for Pacquiao, like why didn't he fight the winner of the Raheem-Morales fight?

So you answered your own question about what you and some of the other Floyd fans would have said if Manny would have fought Zahir Raheem and beat him!

In fact, Manny had just moved up to 130 (to fight Morales) and continued fighting there for 3 more years before moving up to 135! So that question didn't even make any sense at the time!

Eric Morales vs Manny Pacquiao I
Their first fight was a close fight that was a fight of the year type fight. So you expect Manny to not fight THE Eric Morales again? Plus, I can just imagine if Manny would not have fought Morales again. For sure you would have been posting very differently today, if you know what I mean! You know, Manny was too scared to fight Morales again ….

Eric Morales vs Manny Pacquiao II
Eric Morales was fighting well even in their second encounter! Morales had a slight lead going into the 2nd half of the fight but then Manny took over ….

                .

Morales was drained in the 2nd and 3rd fights.

Yeah, he shed a lot of blood and tears in both those fights. Straight MOLLY WHOPPED.
