I don't blame him for Saunders, Saunders is the one who ducked because even though he tested positive, the fight could have still happened because he had mitigating circumstances for the positive test, the wbo said they were gonna have an investigation and then deliberate on the situation but Saunders just pulled out and moved up.
But Andrade has ducked Lara three times, and Charlo154 two times, and Derevyanchenko one time, that's too many ducks man no matter how you look at it.
I get that you like the guy, I like him too, because he has made skills and mad talent. Like I said, he was going to be my favorite fighter, but I ain't gonna close my eyes just because I like a guy. If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck.
The sad reality is that if Andrade had taken those fights and won, as he likely would have, we would probably be talking about him in the same breathe as Pernell Whitaker, Mayweather, and Roy Jones, I think he has that much talent. I see those guys when I look at him.
And he would be getting those Canelo and GGG fights now because he wouldn't be high risk low reward anymore, he would be high risk high reward.
Saunders too would have endured the scrutiny and fought him because he would be thee guy to fight.

This is why I cringe whenever reading a Keith Idec article. He goes on and on about how supposedly Andrade is "willing to fight everyone from 154-168"(where have I heard that before?)
Then Idec goes on to provide no examples of proof whatsoever that Andrade is actually interested in the best unless its Canelo & Ggg.
When a fighter is actually interested in facing the absolute best to establish themselves & become a star attraction,they are relentless with calling them out in the media nonstop,they most importantly are willing to sacrifice & make concessions in order to land the big fights,they will try to shame the other fighters as chickens etc.
Meanwhile Andrade is already going on 32 yrs old & best opponent is a legit C level,he never has made concessions to land the big fight,he never has been linked with negotiating or sending offers to anyone besides Canelo & maybe ggg(who did actually duck him). But according to Keith Idec Andrade is supposedly the most avoided 32 yr old boogieman prospect in history, somehow everyone is ducking him despite him doing absolutely nothing known to land fighters big fights, especially fighters with god awful styles like his whom bring no reward to the cashcows whatsoever,(even if Nelo beats him hed likely win by decision & would be discredited 1 way or another as a robbery,or as Andrade being unproven etc.).
If someone was to have been unaware of everything in Boxing & read Idecs article they'd assume Andrade was sending offers with concessions to all the top fighters,& that he was doing what fighters like canelo have been doing his entire career,but is just being blackballed; & thats complete bs,look at how after fmj schooled nelo & everyone said hed avoid Lara like the plague,but he make several concessions to prove himself & reestablish himself even though Lara offered the most fan unfriendly style on earth & brought virtually nothing to the table besides being the most difficult legacy fight at the time.

Yes I understand what a guarantee purse is. And I agree that Canelo can make $35m to fight almost anyone EXCEPT DAZN didn't want the Derevyenchenko fight they wanted Andrade or GGG or Kovalev and they do have the right of refusal of an opponent so they agreed to approve Derevyenchenko PROVIDING Canelo took less money to overpay Derevyenchenko but they wanted GGG, Kovalev or Andrade in that order.Leave a comment:

Do you even understand what a guarantied purse is? Canelo is making 35 million regardless, his contract stipulates that in writing. So no Canelo was never offered 30 mill for Derevyachenko, the problem with that fight is that mother efer Haymon wanted to take money out of Canelos purse, Canelo/GBP offerer 5 Million and Haymon, Finkle & Derevyachenko wanted 10 million same as Jacobs.Leave a comment:

Andrade can't get the fights he wants but people seem to forget the fights that fell thru at 154 because of him. He doesn't have a great resume and he is partly to blame because of that. Still, I'd like to see Golovkin or Canelo give him his shot. I don't think Andrade would win but I want to see those fights regardless.Leave a comment:
