I did say I would start a thread for WE (us hardcore fans) can keep our own lil record of who's lineal and we can also discuss and agree on who is or who isn't lineal.....

Ring magazine was known for putting up the "ring" belt to signify lineal status.....

but ever since golden boy bought them its been very biased imo and in many other opinions....

now Transnational boxing rankings were the go to.... until they gave an imaginary win in the fury-wilder fight.

(idc who you thought won... it was not a robbery. Chavez sr vs whittaker was a clear robbery and no one can even argue that... and this fight wasn't even comparable to that)


so lets start from heavyweight down. You dont have to list a full top 10..... imo just a top 3 should do

Usyk is lineal champ at CW until he fights at HW, Gvozdyk is Lineal at LHW. Who is at 168? Smith has The Ring belt, but I don't recall Groves beating the lineal. Was it Ward and then vacated?

The Lineal title is weak. I think you need a whole new concept with whos realllllly champ nowadays.

Too many guys dont fight the other top guys so I think you need a new concept title where you can strip the old champ & make a new champ when the old champ is on that Old Foreman type bs & fighting Crawford Grimsley.
