You tried to keep it simple, but you were very wrong and got took to school on how professional boxing is actually scored. Amateur boxing doesn't have one single scoring system, the way to score an amateur fight varies by which country and which tournament the fight happens in, so right off the bat you are incorrect as always. In professional boxing, It's scored by a 10 point, round-by-round system which takes into account effective aggression, ring generalship, defense and clean punches. That said, Castillo's aggression wasn't effective as he was constantly missing punches and getting countered, he wasn't the ring general since Floyd dominated the pace for 5 rounds straight and continued to toy with Castillo in rounds 8, 10 and 11. Defense easily went to Flyd and Floyd landed the cleaner, harder punches that had Castillo's neck cranking and head popping back, where as Castillo landed the pitty-pat low blows, hip shots and arm/elbow/shoulder punches. For you to blatantly lie and say Castillo landed cleaner punches just goes to show how clueless you are. So based on the boxing rules, Floyd easily won that fight. The judges got it right, so did all the ring side experts and media members who all had Floyd winning as well. Sorry Pacquiao lover, but Floyd never lost his 0 like Pacquiao lost his in his 12th fight.

I'm going to have to disagree with their scored card, their official one says that Castillo won round 4 and they had round 5 a draw, two rounds that Floyd easily won.

In fact, you see far more brawls in amateur boxing since they fight for less rounds and cannot afford a "Feeling out" process. So again, you're clueless on amateur boxing scoring, the same way you're clueless on how professional boxing is scored. The person who got hurt more was definitely Castillo, knocked down in the 2nd round and showing clear signs of fatigue and slowing down during the 8th round. He took punishment in that fight. If you think Floyd was ever hurt in any stretch of that fight then you're the one who doesn't know shii about boxing.

Except Pacquiao didn't land clean punches, in fact his volume was extremely low in that fight and his punches were constantly hitting air.
