Proof that Loma has improved since losing to Salido

Lomachenko destroyed Rocky Martinez when he was coming off a draw and a win over Salido.
That is a fact. Clear sign Loma improved, when he destroyed a fighter who was on the same level as an opponent he had problems with. Not even talking about the asterisks surrounding his loss.

This argument to dismiss Loma as a p4p fighter has been debunked.

He's so much better now. I think about half this place hasn't even seen him fight and/or doesn't know enough about the sport to draw the conclusions that he's a terrible fighter who's not improved.

Bruh, this whole idea that Lomachenko is some manufactured hype-job that can't beat a Salido is nothing more than a conspiracy theory. Put it up there with JFK, Roswell, and Sasquatch. Sure anybody can be beat, but plenty of P4P greats have losses on their record.
I've always had a hard time comprehending the Lomachenko hate...

it is clearly obvious that Loma has improved... no proof required

who wouldn't improve after their 2nd fight... ?

" improvement " is not what was required to beat Salido

experience... is what was required to beat Salido

Loma was elite already... he hasn't learned that much skill-wise, he has developed his game as a pro

a better matchup, and a better gameplan... would also have helped

nobody thinks that Salido is better than Lomachenko

also... if coming in overweight is all you need to do to beat Lomachenko... then he was not as good as advertised

Arum cut corners... and he paid the price

FACT: you do not put a total rookie in there with a TOUGH EXPERIENCED VETERAN, who is right on top of his game

Arum cut corners, because he could see how special Loma was... but you do not break a "given" in boxing, we have already learnt that lesson many times

as special as Loma is... that was a very difficult situation

THAT... is why you develop a fighter, rather than throw them to the wolves

if that fight had happened 10 fights on, when Loma was more settled/experienced in 12-round fights... nobody would be mentioning Salido

Arum blew it... and Loma learned a valuable lesson !

It is man, but people keep brying it up as a reason why he is not p4p to discredit the guy. So I guess it's still necessary

Salido was a tough fight for just about anyone. Him taking that as his second fight was pretty crazy in the first place and people have held that result over his head to shh on him. The guy is an amazing athlete not just boxer..I do wish he had gotten started as a pro earlier in life because he’s already talking about the end of his career.
