Based on popularity yes. Resumes unfortunately don’t seem to matter as much as they did before. It’s the argument I’ve had about Garcia. You can have five notable fights or so in like 40 fights and it seems to be enough for some. I do think he’s a tremendous fighter and won’t get into opinions on some of the questions surrounding him and tests and drugs and the likes that’s not the topic here so it’s left for another day. Could he be HOF outright? I think he’s got the skills and youth to make it an unquestionable choice to induct but as I said yesterday I don’t think he sticks around all that much longer in the sport especially if he captures a 175 title.

His positive test for PED's makes it very hard to support him for the HOF. His resume IMO is HOF worthy right now.

I’d still like to see a clear marquee win. (as I don’t think he won either GGG fight) However, I think he could retire tomorrow and be a lock for the HOF.

Seriously? Look at the resumes of guys in the boxing HOF. Canelo could retire today and be a lock.

ATG or HOF? Both I say and Golovkin is neither but ppl have whispered that based on a draw and a loss to Canelo he gets in the HOF...So if your gonna let the tomato can assasin in then you gotta put Canelo way ahead of him.

yes, on paper but he really didn't win any of his big fights decisively; everything was close and questionable... but yes hes already HOF worthy if you are being honest with yourself...

i reckon he has, but what do you guys think?
                      Why do you think so?
What good fighters has he beaten? (Besides GGG, Lara and Jacobs)
                      I'm serious.
I don't see it myself, but maybe you can convince me.
